Description
These crockpot smothered chicken thighs are such an easy and delicious way to get dinner on the table. There’s nothing better than good, old-fashioned comfort food made easy.
Ingredients
- 6 to 8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 large yellow onion, sliced
- 2 cans (10.5 ounces each) cream of chicken soup
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Step: Spray your crockpot with non-stick spray.
- Step: Add the onions and mushrooms.
- Step: Arrange the chicken thighs on top.
- Step: Cover with cream of chicken and add the onion soup mix.
- Step: Stir well and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
Notes
Note that the cream of chicken and soup mix can be quite salty so you may want to use more pepper than salt or skip the salt entirely.
