Description

These crockpot smothered chicken thighs are such an easy and delicious way to get dinner on the table. There’s nothing better than good, old-fashioned comfort food made easy.

Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 large yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 cans (10.5 ounces each) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Step: Spray your crockpot with non-stick spray.
  2. Step: Add the onions and mushrooms.
  3. Step: Arrange the chicken thighs on top.
  4. Step: Cover with cream of chicken and add the onion soup mix.
  5. Step: Stir well and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.

Notes

Note that the cream of chicken and soup mix can be quite salty so you may want to use more pepper than salt or skip the salt entirely.
