Description
Crock Pot Crack Chicken is one of those recipes that is almost too easy for how good it tastes. Serve it on buns, with crackers, over pasta, or in lettuce wraps for a cozy meal that works any night of the week.
Ingredients
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 ounces ranch dressing mix (powdered)
- 16 ounces cream cheese
- 8 ounces turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup green onion, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Step 1: Add chicken breasts to crock pot.
- Step 2: Add chicken broth, cream cheese, and ranch seasoning over chicken. Turn crock pot to HIGH and cook for 3 hours, or cook on LOW for 6 hours.
- Step 3: Once chicken is cooked, pull out the breasts and shred with two forks.
- Step 4: Stir sauce in the crock pot and add chicken back in.
- Step 5: Add shredded cheese, turkey bacon, and green onions to chicken. Mix well and serve warm on buns or in bowls.
Notes
To keep the dish lower in carbs, serve as lettuce wraps or over zoodles. For a less rich option, you can reduce the cream cheese to 8 ounces.
