Creamy Nellie and Joe’s Key Lime Pie recipe made with condensed milk, egg yolks, and lime juice — a tangy family favorite dessert.
Ingredients
- ½ cup Nellie and Joe’s Key Lime Juice
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1 prepared graham cracker or vanilla wafer crust
- Optional toppings – whipped cream, Cool Whip, or meringue
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: Crush 1½ cups graham crackers or Nilla wafers. Mix with 6 tablespoons melted butter and 2 tablespoons sugar. Press firmly into a 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 350°F for 8–10 minutes, or chill if making no-bake.
- Make the filling: In a mixing bowl, whisk together 3 large egg yolks and 1 can of sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Stir in ½ cup Nellie and Joe’s Key Lime Juice.
- Bake the pie: Pour filling into the prepared crust. Bake at 325–350°F for about 15 minutes, until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
- Chill and set: Let cool at room temperature, then refrigerate at least 3 hours.
- Top before serving: Add whipped cream, Cool Whip, or meringue. Garnish with zest or lime slices.
- Serve and enjoy: Cut into wedges or portion into bars, mini pies, or single-serving cups.
