  • 120ml (½ cup) Full-Fat Coconut Milk: Delivers a rich, creamy base.
  • 120ml (½ cup) Orange Juice: Adds brightness and Vitamin C.
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Honey or Agave Syrup: To balance tartness and enhance flavor.
  • ½ tsp (2.5ml) Ground Cardamom (Optional): Adds a warm, aromatic spice.
  • 100g (3½oz) Avocado: Adds creaminess and healthy fats.
  • 30ml (2 tbsp) Coconut Cream: Intensifies coconut flavor.
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Lime Juice: Brightens the swirl and prevents browning.

  • Pinch of Sea Salt: Enhances all flavors.
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Toasted Coconut Flakes: For a crunchy topping.
  • Fresh Mint Leaves: For garnish.

Instructions

  1. Prepare Avocado Swirl: Blend avocado, coconut cream, lime juice, maple syrup, and salt until smooth.
  2. Chill Swirl: Refrigerate swirl for at least 10 minutes to thicken.
  3. Blend Berry Base: Blend berries, mango, banana, coconut milk, orange juice, honey, and cardamom.
  4. Blend Until Smooth: Blend until completely smooth, adding liquid if needed.
  5. Pour & Layer: Pour smoothie into a glass, filling about three-quarters full.
  6. Add Swirl: Drop swirl into the center of the smoothie.
  7. Create Swirl Effect: Gently swirl the avocado mixture through the berry base.
  8. Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with coconut flakes and mint; serve immediately.

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, use more frozen fruit. Refrigerate components separately for up to 24 hours before swirling.
