Description

A perfectly sweet peachy cake great for snacking on!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup avocado oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt or Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 can (15 ounces) sliced or diced peaches in juice, drained well

Instructions

  1. Step: Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease an 8×8 square cake pan or line it with parchment paper
  2. Step: To a food processor, mini chopper, or blender add in your drained peaches and blend/chop until very finely diced
  3. Step: To a mixing bowl add in peaches + all remaining ingredients and mix until just combined
  4. Step: Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it out evenly
  5. Step: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
  6. Step: Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely
  7. Step: Slice only once cooled
  8. Step: Serve and enjoy!

Notes

This recipe contains honey, which is not safe for under 1 year olds; omit honey for babies under 1 year. Contains egg and dairy.
