Description

Delicious and simple peach dump cake cobbler will be a new family favorite!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ sticks butter + 1 tablespoon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 29-ounce can peaches in heavy syrup
  • 1 15.25 ounce yellow cake mix

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. With the 1 tablespoon butter, grease the bottom and sides of a 9 x 13 baking dish. Evenly spread the 2 tablespoons brown sugar on the bottom of the pan over the butter.
  2. Step 2: Dump the peaches including the juice into the pan, spread evenly.
  3. Step 3: Spread the cake mix evenly over the peaches.
  4. Step 4: Cut the 1 ½ sticks of butter into small pieces and place evenly over top of the cake mix.
  5. Step 5: Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the top is golden brown.

Notes

Use high-quality butter for the best results. Cutting the butter into small chunks and placing them on top helps distribute the fat more evenly than drizzling melted butter. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
